The Park Travellers Lodge provides Tongariro Crossing Accommodation right in the heart of the Tongariro National Park. We have available some fantastic Tongariro Crossing packages which you will find on our ‘Things to do’ page.
Complete with Tongariro Crossing transport, accommodation, breakfast and lunch we have the complete package for you to experience this famous one day walk. Enjoy views of Mt Ruapehu, Mt Ngauruhoe and Mt Tongariro from the lodge. We are a unique concept, a lodge to socialise in with fellow travellers, to bring the family to, or to just relax and unwind in after experiencing some of the fantastic activities on offer in the region.
The facilities of The Park includes a range of accommodation to suit every budget, a restaurant and bar full of alpine character, two ten person spa pools, large open fire places, conference and wedding facilities.
Our Blog
The Park Travellers' Lodge will host the sixth annual Tussock Traverse Alpine Run and Walk on Auckland Anniversary weekend. This commences with registration in the Waimarino Room on Friday 27th along with the pre-event pasta buffet dinner in the main lounge. On event day the Park will then host the spot prize giving for the 26km walk and run events at 6.00pm followed by the post event barbeque buffet dinner thereafter.
