Tongariro Crossing

Considered one of the best one day walks in the world, The Tongariro Alpine Crossing track passes over varied and spectacular volcanic terrain.

Think diversity of terrain, think Lord of the Rings!  Active volcanos, aqualine lakes, snow and desert, views unparralled; this is a walk of opposits which combine the stunning volcanic scenery with the real experience of exploring mountian springs to lava flows, steam vents to thermal pool.  This crossing will be bookmarked as one of your most memorable experiences of your travels!
